I am glad to welcome you to Eraeliya Villas & Gardens, Weligama, our jewel of the bay. I have created this space as a collection of six uniquely designed villas where I have expressed all my love for Palladian architecture, interior design, art, gardening, a slow lifestyle, travel, and immersion in different cultures.
Everything at Eraeliya Villas & Gardens is designed to make you feel like you are straight out of a movie scene. All rooms are filled with artworks and handcrafted pieces. Lush tropical gardens, an infinity pool, and the scenic beach at sunset will make your heart skip a beat in the best way possible. And I would love to share this truly fabulous ambiance with my guests.

Eraeliya Villas & Gardens a boutique oceanfront beach resort in Weligama South Sri Lanka offering accommodation for up to 22 guests while ensuring personalized care for each visitor.
With nine distinct living spaces, our accommodations promise a unique experience:
- Four ocean-view suites within our main Villa Bawana.
- Four standalone private villas: Villa Walauwa, Ambalama Pavilion, Garden House Nelum, and Beach Hut Muhudu Bella.
- One modern Loft House featuring two loft suites: Ocean Loft & Garden Loft.

We are convinced that a healthy and tasty meal is the foundation of our happiness. And of course, there is nothing better than enjoying a delicious meal with an ocean view.
We serve locally sourced and organic food, thoughtfully prepared. Whether you prefer vegan options or heartier wholesome meals – you will never leave the table hungry and unsatisfied.
Sri Lanka’s most iconic dish is rice & curry. Try our unique interpretation of this all-time favorite – “The Eraeliya Curry Bowl.” It comes with fresh vegetables, red rice, and your choice of prawns, chicken, or tofu – you will love it just as much as we do.

Are you seeking the perfect balance of relaxation and physical activity? Our aim is to ensure you depart from Eraeliya Villas & Gardens with enhanced mental, spiritual, and physical well-being.
We provide yoga classes (upon request) and boast an excellent surf break right outside your window.
Additionally, our in-house massage therapist expertly blends health science with traditional practices from around the world.
Not to forget – there are also plenty of other activities to enjoy such as snorkeling culinary classes or sightseeing trips in the area.
